Spector, the indie band known for their catchy tunes and energetic performances, has released their latest single ‘Another Life’ from their upcoming album ‘Here Come the Early Nights’. The track is a perfect blend of upbeat melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.
Speaking about the track, frontman Fred Macpherson shared, ‘Another Life’ is one of the most upbeat tracks on ‘Here Come the Early Nights,’ but still fits perfectly within the album’s sunset universe. It’s a reflection on falling out with people you’re close to due to loyalty to others, and a daydream about alternate contexts and circumstances.
The band’s guitarist, Jed Cullen, added, ‘This song holds a special place for us. Paul (Fyfe) and I used to write songs together in school, and this one is a good one. It’s a testament to our growth as musicians and our lifelong friendship.’
‘Another Life’ follows the band’s lead single ‘The Notion,’ which marked their return after an 18-month hiatus. The track featured a mesmerizing guitar solo from musician Dev Hynes, captivating listeners with its infectious energy.
